Week Four: Progress, Planners, and Prayers
September 2, 2012 § 2 Comments
I know. It’s been forever since I’ve written here, but soon, I can make blogging here (and other exciting places on the web!) part of my daily, or at least weekly, routine! More on that later, though.
For now, we are entering Week Four of this semester, and I couldn’t be more thrilled and contented with where I stand right now. Classes are wonderful, save the boatloads of reading and writing I’m having to do on this holiday weekend, and I’m thrilled to be in classes in which the material is constantly new and different. Equally thrilling is the fact that, like this summer, I’m living in an apartment, and it is just wonderful. For you, dear readers, starting THIS week, I will have a series of posts that will advocate independence for people with disabilities. Topics will range from scouting out a place to live, arranging transportation, chatting with professors/employers about needed accommodations, and many other things that, well, if I tell you, they won’t be surprises!
My Erin Condren planner, discovered through my sweet friend, Erin, of Blue Eyed Bride, has helped me tremendously, and I just love it. Because I’m so proud and want YOU to get a sneak peek before a product review comes your way VERY soon, here’s my multi-colored life saver right here:
And as a complete side note, one of my professors and dear friends had surgery about 3 weeks ago to correct a condition called superior canal dehiscence. And though he’s seemingly fine now, good thoughts and prayers would be appreciated for this sweet, wonderful mentor of mine. A mighty strong one, he is, but I know how stressful brain surgery (or nearly that!) can be, and he’s just been on my heart a lot lately.
For now, I’m worn out and have some more things to do before I’ll be satisfied enough to hit the sack, but…be on the lookout for exciting things this week!

I love my EC Planner and am already choosing the design for my new one in Feb!
